The TEXAS GTX4000 is a robust battery-powered grass trimmer with a generous 33 cm cutting width. Equipped with a 2.5 Ah battery, it provides 35 minutes of efficient runtime, whether you're trimming edges or rotating the shaft 90° for use as an edger. As part of the 40V Battery series, the trimmer's battery is also compatible with other machines in the TEXAS 40V range.

The GTX4000 is designed for convenience, with a trimmer head that can be angled in five positions to adapt to different terrains and needs. It also features an adjustable telescopic shaft with a 35 cm range, and, at only 3 kg (excluding battery), it's easy to find a comfortable working position even for extended use.

The GTX4000 is powered by a 350-watt motor that drives the dual-string trimmer head. It comes with a 1.4 mm string but can also use a 1.6 mm string, which automatically advances as the head spins.

In addition to the telescopic shaft and adjustable trimmer head, the practical D-shaped front handle can be adjusted to provide an extra support point, allowing the trimmer to fit your height and preferred working position.

The trimmer also includes a plant guard to prevent accidental contact with plants, walls, and similar surfaces. The trimmer head features a protective shield to guard you against cut material. For added safety, two buttons on the primary handle must be activated simultaneously to prevent unintended starts.

The GTX4000 has been tested to run for up to 35 minutes on the included 2.5 Ah battery, though runtime may vary depending on conditions and battery age.

One fully charged 40V battery is required for optimal performance, and both 2.5 Ah and 4.0 Ah batteries are compatible.

There are two 40V lithium batteries available - a 2.5 Ah and a 4.0 Ah - along with a standard charger and a quick charger. Both chargers recharge the 2.5 Ah battery in approximately 75 minutes, while the 4.0 Ah battery takes 120 minutes with the standard charger and 60 minutes with the quick charger. TEXAS 40V batteries can only be used with tools in the 40V Battery series.
