With a working width of 46 cm, this scarifier covers large areas quickly. It features 48 flail blades, also known as pivoting knives, that penetrate deeply into the soil or work lightly on the surface. The adjustable working depth ranges from -30 mm to 5 mm, easily set in 7 steps, allowing you to tailor it to the needs of your lawn. Its durable steel body and powerful performance make the Pro Cut 460B a reliable solution for maintaining moss-free grass.

The Pro Cut 460B is powered by the Briggs & Stratton XR950 engine, delivering 4.5 kW at 3600 RPM. This robust motor ensures sufficient power to tackle even the densest moss patches on expansive lawns.

The scarifier is equipped with a blade roller featuring 48 flail knives made of 3 mm hardened steel, offering superior durability and longevity. These knives efficiently scarify, aerate, and remove moss, revitalizing your lawn.

It comes with a rear discharge system, allowing moss and debris to be left behind for easy collection after scarifying. Weighing 66.5 kg, the Pro Cut 460B is solid and sturdy, yet its adjustable handle ensures ergonomic operation and user comfort.

The Pro Cut 460B is specifically designed for lawns over 500 m², but it also performs well on smaller lawns, completing the job efficiently. Its durability and power make it suitable for professional rental services or demanding domestic use.

The machine is supplied without oil.

TEXAS recommends using unleaded 98/100 gasoline (also called E5) for all our gasoline engines, even if the manual specifies unleaded 95 gasoline (E10).

This recommendation is due to changes from January 1, 2020, when unleaded 95 gasoline (E10) began to contain 10% bioethanol instead of the previous 5%. The increased bioethanol content attracts condensation/water over time and shortens the fuel's shelf life, which can lead to poorer combustion and starting issues.

1 | Use the machine only in early spring and autumn when the soil is moist and soft. Avoid using it on dry and hard soil.

2 | Start with the shallowest blade depth and adjust as needed.

3 | Work in a crisscross pattern for the best results.

4 | If using the collector bag, remember to empty it frequently.

5 | If the treated area has been heavily moss-infested, ensure to apply nutrients such as fertilizer and lime after scarifying to promote healthy grass regrowth.
