TMX600
Mow your lawn with an efficient robotic lawn mower from TEXAS that handles lawns up to approximately 600 m², operates quietly, is easy to set up, and is accessible via an app.
Description
The TEXAS TMX600 robotic lawn mower is ideal for medium to large lawns, equipped with all the features you need and capable of managing lawns up to around 600 m² (maximum 700 m²). With the Multi Zone function, you can select up to four starting points for the mower, ensuring it trims even small areas in the front and back yard. It also navigates passages as narrow as 80 cm and can handle slopes up to 24° (45%).
Connect the TMX600 to your Wi-Fi for easy setup through a multi-language app, allowing you to adjust starting points, edge trimming, and schedule mowing days and times. This very quiet mower (maximum 58 dB) uses mulching and is easy to clean with a garden hose. The setup is straightforward and user-friendly.
The TMX600 is an upgraded version of the popular RMX600, featuring enhanced hardware, a larger cutting width of 20 cm, a more advanced LCD display on the mower's body, and a redesigned cutting shield. Together, these improvements help you achieve a well-maintained lawn with minimal effort and disruption.
Customize your robotic mower in the app
The TMX600 includes a smart, multi-language app for full control over your robotic lawn mower. In the app, you can set daily mowing times (one time slot), configure Multi Zone starting points, schedule edge trimming, view the mowing log, and install software updates to enhance performance or fix issues.
Once connected to Wi-Fi, you can always access your mower through the TEXAS app. If your Wi-Fi does not reach the garden, you can also connect via Bluetooth within a few meters of the mower, or use the improved LCD display on the mower if you prefer not to use the app.
Sensors and software enhance mowing
The mower operates within the boundary wire, and its software ensures it takes varied routes, preventing tracks on the grass. The edge trim function allows it to follow the boundary wire closely, mowing as far out as possible, and it navigates passages as narrow as 80 cm.
The TMX600 features several practical sensors for optimal operation. The obstacle sensor detects contact with objects of at least 10 cm, redirecting the mower. The tilt sensor similarly redirects the mower if it encounters a steep incline. If the mower unexpectedly tips, this is also detected and displayed in the app.
The lift sensor automatically stops the blades if the mower is lifted, reducing the risk of injury. The rain sensor allows you to send the mower back to its charging station in wet weather, ensuring a neater cut when conditions are dry.
Efficient mowing
With a cutting diameter of 20 cm, the TMX600 mows with three razor-sharp pivoting blades rotating at 2,500 RPM, using mulching to nourish the lawn. The height adjustment dial offers nine cutting heights from 20 mm to 60 mm, and it operates at no more than 58 dB, making it quiet enough that you may hardly notice it.
The three pivoting blades are mounted on a spring-suspended blade disc that adapts to the ground surface, automatically adjusting over uneven terrain for an even cut and minimizing the risk of stalling.
Depending on the shape of your lawn, the mower has an active cutting time of 60- -90 minutes before returning to the charging station, where it fully recharges in around two hours. For lawns close to 600 m², you can set it to mow for multiple hours within a single daily time slot.
Concealable charging station and easy cleaning
The TMX600 charging station can be placed in a corner of the lawn for a discreet setup. In the charging station, the mower goes into 'Eco Mode' - turning off the boundary wire and reducing power consumption. With a 28W, 1.1A power supply, the annual electricity cost ranges from 25 to 100 DKK, depending on usage and electricity prices.
You can easily clean the mower with a garden hose, as it is IPX5 rated for water resistance, allowing it to work even in rainy conditions. However, for best results, we recommend mowing in dry weather.
The TMX600 also features a UV-resistant plastic cutting shield to maintain its color in sunlight, and the rear drive wheels have a high-traction design to avoid wheel spin and stalling on soft ground.
The robotic lawn mower includes a unique PIN code for security, making it unusable if stolen since it will not operate outside its boundary wire.
Robotic mower test
Before launching our RMX robotic lawn mower line in 2022, we conducted an extensive testing phase in 2021 to optimize and improve the mowers for real-world use.
We invited a large number of testers from across Denmark with different types of gardens, sizes, and lawns. Out of the applicants, we selected 46 testers with various garden types who tested the RMX500 model throughout the 2021 season.
As the mower worked on their lawns, testers provided ongoing feedback on what worked well and areas for improvement. At the end of the season, 86% of testers reported that the robotic lawn mower met their expectations and that they would recommend it to others.
All feedback helped us refine the manual and improve future models, resulting in today's upgraded and thoroughly tested robotic lawn mower that delivers a perfectly maintained lawn.
Included accessories
Charging station, power supply, 130 m boundary wire, 180 pegs, nine pivoting blades, and a detailed setup and user manual.
