TEXAS A/S takes over distribution and marketing of SNAPPER in Sweden
SNAPPER is a quality lawnmower and lawn tractor brand, manufactured by American company Briggs & Stratton, which now entrusts Danish company TEXAS A/S to distribute and market SNAPPER in Sweden.
On 1 March 2015, TEXAS A/S took over all of the distribution and marketing of SNAPPER in the Swedish market. TEXAS A/S is already the distributor for SNAPPER in Denmark, and is now ready to enter the Swedish market.
TEXAS A/S will strengthen SNAPPER's position in Sweden, by building up an even stronger relationship with existing dealers, and at the same time by focusing on developing the dealer network, precisely as it has been developed in the Danish market. Because TEXAS A/S is itself an important player in the market for garden machines, the new partnership will not only strengthen SNAPPER, it will also strengthen TEXAS A/S' own brand, its total product range and availability on the market.
To be able to deliver the best service and to ensure optimal collaboration with the Swedish dealers, work on a Sales Department in Sweden is currently underway.
TEXAS A/S also takes over responsibility for all matters relating to the warranty and servicing of SNAPPER, and will therefore supply spare parts for all of the Briggs & Stratton engines, and naturally all of the SNAPPER machines.
Two companies with a combined experience of over 100 years
TEXAS A/S took over all of the distribution and marketing of SNAPPER in Denmark in 2014. But the excellent collaboration between the American company Briggs & Stratton and TEXAS A/S, stretches back over several decades. Since the 1970s, TEXAS A/S has manufactured garden machines using engines from Briggs & Stratton.
Danish company TEXAS A/S was established 55 years ago, and is firmly established in the Danish market for garden machines. Briggs & Stratton was established in 1908 and today it is the world's biggest manufacturer of petrol engines for lawnmowers, lawn tractors and other products. In other words - the new collaboration between these two companies is bound to be a success.
